SMR Filante d’Or foaled 2007. Filante is out of SMR Fifi d’Or by SMR Garcon. Filante is an embryo transplant. The day her Dam Fifi d’Or was bred we harvested the fertilized egg and I drove from UC Davis to Solvang where the egg was transplanted in a surrogate dam. That way Fifi d’Or could still compete in the sport of endurance. Filante is a great ride on the trails and is now bred so she can carry on the tradition of great endurance horse at Sliger Mine Ranch. She will return to competing in the near future. Often while riding along the trails on Filante d’Or I think of the day I carried her as a single egg by hand to Solvang, California.
